Molly Burton, Realtor® and Interior Designer, helping clients buy, sell, renovate, and reimagine homes throughout the Greater St. Louis area and Central Indiana.

My background in both real estate and interior design gives me a unique perspective when working with my clients. I don’t simply see a house as it is today—I see its potential. I understand what buyers notice, what makes a home memorable, where thoughtful improvements can add value, and when it makes more sense to leave something exactly as it is.

Real Estate, Through a Designer’s Eye

When representing a seller, my design background allows me to look beyond the comparable sales and help position a home to make the strongest possible impression. From recommendations on paint, lighting, furnishings and styling to larger conversations about updates and renovations, I help my clients determine where changes can make a difference—and where spending money simply isn’t necessary.

For buyers, that same experience can be invaluable. Sometimes the right house doesn’t look perfect on day one. I help clients look beyond finishes they may not love and understand what can be changed, what it may take to change it, and how a property could ultimately become the home they envision.

That ability to combine market knowledge, design, renovation experience and an understanding of value is at the heart of how I approach real estate.

A Decade of Real Estate Experience

I have spent more than a decade helping clients navigate real estate, from first-time purchases and family moves to relocation, new construction, investment properties and luxury homes.

Today, I serve clients in two markets that are very much a part of my story: Greater St. Louis and Central Indiana.

In Missouri, I am a Realtor® with Coldwell Banker Realty–Gundaker and the Colleen Lawler Team, serving St. Charles County and the greater St. Louis area. I also continue to serve clients throughout Central Indiana, where I began my real estate career and built an established network of clients and industry relationships.

Regardless of the price point or location, my philosophy is the same: clients deserve thoughtful advice, honest communication, attention to detail and someone who will advocate for their best interests from our first conversation through closing.

The Design Side of Home

Interior design isn't simply an extension of my real estate business—it is another part of what I love about homes.

Through Burton Design Studios, I work with homeowners on renovations, interiors and spaces designed around the way they actually live. I’m drawn to homes that feel collected rather than overly decorated—beautiful materials, interesting architectural details, meaningful pieces, comfortable spaces and rooms that don't feel as though they came directly from a catalog.

My design philosophy is rooted in creating homes that are beautiful, functional, personal and meant to be lived in.

And because I work in both industries, real estate continually influences the way I design, while design changes the way I approach real estate.

A Little More About Me

When I’m not showing houses, studying floor plans, sourcing something for a design project or negotiating a real estate transaction, I’m usually doing something that still somehow involves home.

I love renovating and reimagining spaces, hunting for beautiful or unusual pieces, cooking, entertaining, gardening and creating places where people genuinely want to spend time.

I’m a Purdue graduate, and my Indiana roots remain an important part of both my personal and professional life even as I’ve built a second home and business in the St. Louis area.

At the end of the day, whether I’m helping someone sell a home they’ve loved, find the one that comes next, or transform the home they already have, my goal is the same:
